The contents of the guide include the scope of application of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/behg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SESTA<\/a> and reporting for the years 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the guidance also includes a section on &#8220;avoiding double charging&#8221; of installations that are already subject to emissions trading under the European emissions trading scheme (EU ETS). In this context, the EU-ETS system operator must issue a confirmation to the distributor which contains, among other things, the quantity of the substance supplied and used as well as a declaration of intention to use the substance.
